Jonny Gomes Is Coming to the HEAT Show!

Thursday, August 21, 11 AM – 1 PM

Say hello to a
World Series Champion!

Jonny Gomes will be on the HEAT Show floor on Thursday, August 21, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, taking photos, signing autographs, and saying hello to everyone he meets.

Gomes is a former MLB outfielder who played for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Cincinnati Reds, Washington Nationals, Oakland Athletics, Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves, and Kansas City Royals over his 13-year career. He was part of the Red Sox and Royals’ teams when they won their respective World Series.

Known for his gritty style of play and team-first attitude, Gomes was a difference maker on and off the field. In 2013 following the Boston Marathon bombings, Gomes and his teammates immediately jumped into action, making visits to Boston-area hospitals to meet with victims, and inviting survivors to games at Fenway Park throughout the World Series run. During the championship parade, Gomes and teammate Jarrod Saltalamacchia placed the World Series trophy on the site of the Boston Marathon finish line, a symbolic gesture in memory of those lost that day as well as a show of the city’s resilience and community.

A passionate ambassador of the game, Gomes now travels the globe with Major League Baseball as part of their MLB Homerun Derby X, a 3-on-3 co-ed competition, and has also appeared in the widely popular Savannah Bananas baseball games.

Throughout his playing career and beyond, Gomes could be counted on to give back to the community through his impassioned support of the military as well as youth initiatives. A father of six, Gomes and his wife Amber are expecting a seventh child in 2025.

Make sure you are registered for Thursday’s trade show so you can get a picture with Gomes!
